When Diet and Exercise isn't Enough...Choose Plexus!
See this picture? This used to be me.
I hope you've seen my first blog post where I talk about the ups and downs of my weight loss journey. It's been an interesting road, for sure. One minute I felt like I was on top of the world, having lost forty pounds, and the next minute I was right back where I started. Actually, I was worse than where I started.
Then I chose Plexus and everything changed.
There are a lot of reasons why people have so much trouble losing weight on their own. For me, no matter how much I exercised and no matter how clean I ate, I would gain weight. There became a time when I was tired of it, and I changed what I was doing. I decided I needed to address the issues that led up to my weight gain, and no, it wasn't just because I have a bacon addiction. I do love bacon, but I had deeper issues.
Plexus addresses:
Blood Sugar - When your blood sugar levels drop, your hypothalamus tells your body that it's hungry. Sometimes those drops can happen rather quickly, and in an effort to ease your hunger, you grab a snack. It might be a quick snack like a candy bar or a bag of chips, because that's what we crave when we experience these drops. Plexus helps to regulate your blood sugar during the course of the day, so your need to reach for those unhealthy snacks is eliminated.
Energy Levels - The first cup of coffee of the day tastes so good, doesn't it? There's nothing you love more, but you know the inevitable crash is going to happen before too long. As a result, you either opt for more coffee or you go for a quick carb-rich snack to power through until lunch. Plexus is a great pick-me-up, and you'll experience increased energy levels that will stay with you throughout the entire day.
Sluggish Metabolism - Maybe when you were younger you had a great metabolism. You were always burning calories, and you couldn't gain weight even if you tried. As you get older, your metabolism tends to slow down quite a bit, which can make it really hard to get the weight off. That's why so many people end up gaining as they age. Plexus gives your metabolism the boost it needs using ingredients that are all natural.
Thyroid and Adrenal Issues - When your blood sugar is out of whack, it causes a host of other problems, including thyroid issues and adrenal fatigue. I started using Essential Oils to help with adrenal fatigue because I had all of the symptoms, and I was amazed when I lost a little bit of weight. I knew for sure that my adrenal glands needed some repairing, and Plexus has really helped with that.
What health issues are you facing? Maybe for you, you have joint pain, headaches or fatigue. Plexus addresses so much more than weight loss, and it works!

21 Days with Plexus: Can You See the Change?
A week ago today I added this photo to Facebook just to see if other people could see the changes in me that I could see. I was overwhelmed by the amount of responses I got!
The first picture was taken several months ago when my weight was at its highest. I had gotten my hair cut in an attempt to help myself feel better about how I looked, but it really didn't do much good. I felt so stuck. I was dying inside because I felt trapped in a body that was just gaining more and more weight. I started trying so many things in an attempt to lose again. I was walking, I was using my gazelle and I was counting my calories. That was what I had done before, only it didn't seem to be working this time.
The picture on the right side is me one week ago today. There's no doubt you can see the change in my face. My clothes are much looser than they used to be and I'm already contemplating picking up a new pair of jeans because we're in the Fall season now.
This is all because of Plexus!
I had switched to a gluten free diet a few months before I started Plexus because it just helped me feel better. I wasn't losing any weight on it though. Now, it's much easier to continue my gluten free diet and I'm finding that I'm actually craving foods like salads and fruit and veggies. I do take walks a few times a week, but as far as exercise goes, that's all I'm doing for a variety of reasons.
Sometimes people are turned off when they find out how much Plexus costs, and I was one of those people at first. However, I thought I'd try it because it did come with a money-back guarantee. I figured I didn't really have anything to lose because I could get a refund in 60 days if it didn't work for me. Now I can't imagine taking advantage of that guarantee because I'm just so thrilled about this company and their products.
It's time for you to join me on a Plexus journey of your own! All you have to lose is weight and inches! Who's going to be a part of my team?

Welcome to My Plexus Journey!
Welcome to my Plexus Blog!
You probably found this blog because you were looking for a way to lose weight that's all natural and that actually works. I'd like to start by telling you a little bit about my story and how I came to know about this tremendous product.
It was almost three years ago when I first started thinking about losing weight. I had gained quite a bit of weight after having my third baby, and since he was almost two years old, I figured it wasn't about to come off without me doing some serious work. I started looking into weight loss supplements and I found one that seemed promising. I purchased it and I started using it right away. It wasn't a magic pill, by any means. I cut way down on my calories and I started exercising HARD. Most days I would exercise for at least an hour a day, and some days it was more like two hours. The weight started coming off, and before I knew it, I had lost about 40 pounds.
I felt amazing! I couldn't believe I had lost so much weight.
I had been toying with the idea of getting a permanent form of birth control because I was finished having babies. So, I made an appointment with my NP, because my yearly physical needed to be done anyway. That weekend, I wasn't feeling right and realized that I was late. I had never been late since I started getting my weight under control, so the morning before my appointment, I took a pregnancy test.
It was positive.
We hadn't been preventing pregnancy, but I really didn't think I would get pregnant. I felt like I was too old, but I was only 37. It happened, and I freaked out.
Once the news settled in, I actually started looking forward to having a new baby. However, it wasn't more than a week or two before I learned that I was going to miscarry. That news came as quite a shock, and I spent a lot of time trying to reason with myself that they were wrong. When the miscarriage started, I was in horrible pain. I went back to my NP and she referred me to a doctor so that I could talk with him about getting a D&C and a tubal at the same time. I didn't want to go through that again. He referred me to another doctor who agreed to do both of the surgeries and we set it up. She gave me medication to help me deal with the pain in the meantime.
That night, I took the medication and I went to bed. I woke up at 3am and I was in terrible pain again. I took more medication (Tylenol with Codeine) and it didn't touch the pain. I managed to wait it out until my kids went to school, and then I drove myself to the hospital emergency room. They called the doctor and she came in and I had surgery around 1:00 in the afternoon.
She did the D&C, the tubal, and she removed a rather large cyst from one of my ovaries. I was just glad it was over, and before long my husband was able to come in and take me home.
What followed was weeks of pain and recuperation. I lost my motivation. I just didn't care anymore. I was depressed because of all that I had gone through. I slowly watched the scale creep back up, but I felt like I was in too much pain to do anything about it. Before long, I was heavier than I had ever been.
It took a while for me to come to grips with all that had happened to me. Once I did, I slowly started to feel my motivation come back. I knew I had to begin my exercise regimen again, and it was also time for me to start counting calories again. I had so far to go if I wanted to get back on track. I kept reminding myself that it was a journey, and that this was part of it. I had a loving supportive family and I had my supplements to help me.
I started taking the supplements again, and I was confused because they didn't seem to be working. I kept taking them thinking that it might just take a bit for them to kick in, but I felt nothing. I was counting calories, I was exercising, and I wasn't losing weight. I must have started and stopped that routine so many times, until finally I just gave up.
I felt defeated. Horribly defeated.
Fast-forward a few months, someone introduced me to essential oils. I absolutely fell in love with them, and I immediately started using several of them to help me lose weight. It actually worked! Once I figured out what my body needed, I added those oils and I dropped 14 pounds fairly quickly.
Then it stopped.
I started fluctuating between a 14 pound loss and around an 11 pound loss, but I could never go lower than that.
That's when I started thinking seriously about Plexus. I was introduced by the same person who taught the essential oils class I attended. I knew they worked (they're great for much more than weight loss!), and she seemed to be having great results with Plexus in her own life. I watched her for a long time, just waiting to see how it worked for her. Finally, I decided to give it a try for myself.
I started Plexus this past Saturday (today is Thursday) and I can already see a difference in myself. My clothes are a little bit looser than they were when I started and I definitely have more energy during the day. Saturday we actually went to an amusement park for the day, and I've been pretty sore all week long because of that, but I'll be getting more into my walking routines next week again. I was told not to weigh myself again until 30 days had passed, but I already know I'm going to see a drop on the scale.
I started this blog because I wanted to share about Plexus, and I wanted my review of it to be sincere. I intend to be completely candid about everything as I use it. I can tell you that I'm using the Tri-Plex, which is the Slim (which is the drink mix) in the morning, the Bio-Cleanse and the ProBio5. I can feel it working and I'm really excited about what the future has in store for me with regard to my health and my weight loss!
